• Enfield Dirt Bike Sting Leads To Three Arrests (patch.com) — Enfield police used an online dirt bike listing in a targeted sting that led to three arrests after an attempted storage-unit break-in. The early-morning operation, dubbed "Operation Whiskey Throttle," focused on a rash of dirt bike and ATV thefts and involved local businesses providing equipment and facilities to support officers' efforts.
   

• New Report Adds Details To Enfield Abuse Case (patch.com) — A serious child abuse case involving Enfield residents has led to charges against two adults after a 5-year-old arrived at Enfield Street School with facial injuries, prompting a police and DCF investigation. Authorities say one adult allegedly restrained the child so he could not breathe, while the other is accused of failing to seek help. Both are due in Hartford Superior Court later this month and remain presumed innocent.
