4. 2 Worcester Men Charged After Dirt Bike Theft Sting (patch.com) β Enfield police say a covert sting dubbed "Operation Whiskey Throttle" led to the arrest of three men accused of trying to break into a storage unit after responding to an online dirt bike listing. The Enfield PD, working with Homeland Security and local businesses, used the operation to target recent dirt bike and ATV thefts affecting storage units, homes, and businesses in surrounding communities.

Crews battle condo fire in East Windsor, no injuries reported (wfsb.com) β Fire crews from East Windsor and neighboring departments, including Enfield and Hazardville, quickly knocked down a condo fire on Folkstone Road Wednesday afternoon, preventing injuries despite heavy smoke and flames. Three attached units suffered smoke impacts and were vented for high carbon monoxide, while investigators continue to look into the cause and ask anyone with information to contact East Windsor police.
