Peter J. Moschetti, Sr., 76, of Enfield, beloved husband of Sandra (Roy) Moschetti for 53 years, entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family on Nov. 15, 2011.
Peter was born in Thompsonville, son of the late John and Agnes (MacCouley) Moschetti. He was a graduate of Enfield High School, where he excelled as a three-sport athlete. Upon graduation, Peter enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two years in Germany as a tank operator. After being honorably discharged, he came home and worked several years for the Enfield Parks and Recreation Department. Peter then worked at the Dexter Corporation for 20 years until retirement.
Peter was a good husband and his family was everything to him. Besides his wife, Peter is survived by his son, Peter Moschetti, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Saratoga Springs, NY; his son, John Moschetti and his wife Jennifer of East Longmeadow, MA; his son, Michael Moschetti and his wife Natalie of Enfield; a daughter, Anne of Enfield; and a daughter, Mary Palmer and her husband Steve of Ellington. Peter is also survived by his sister, Florence Fleming of Jupiter, FL.

He was a loving grandfather to Michael, Kara, Julia, Christine, Nick, Tia, Kayla, Steven and Zachary, and uncle to Pamela Hunt and her husband Joseph, John Fleming and his wife Liz, and Harold Fleming, Jr.
A special thanks to the staff at St. Francis Hospital, ICU unit and the Hospital for Special Care for the wonderful compassion and kindness shown to Peter on his long journey home.

To his friends, your kindness, thoughts and prayers will never be forgotten.
At Peter’s request, there will be no calling hours and there will be a private family burial.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Church or Loaves and Fishes in Enfield.
