Enfield, CT, October 20, 2023 – The Enfield Safe Harbor for the Homeless and Outreach Center received a check in the amount of $4200.00 from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal through its Vicariate Outreach Program. This funding will help the Center expand its mission of providing a safe and warm place for our homeless residents of Enfield, Connecticut during the coldest times of the year.

“We are grateful to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal for the generous support of our mission over the past four years,” said Rosalind Swift, the Center’s Communications Chair. Our mission remains the same to serve our homeless in Enfield. Enfield Safe Harbor for the Homeless resume’s operation for overnight stays December 1, 2023 and will open earlier if funding permits. Guests enjoy a welcoming environment, hot or cold drinks, snacks or a meal, fellowship, and a cot where they can rest safely overnight.

The Enfield Safe Harbor for the Homeless and Outreach and Engagement Center is open every Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
