Attic Fire Quickly Knocked Down In Hazardville Section of Enfield
No injuries were reported following the Tuesday morning fire, an official said.

ENFIELD, CT — Firefighters braved frigid temperatures to quickly put out an attic fire in a Hazardville home early Tuesday.
The fire at 21 Ridgefield Road was reported at 5:21 a.m., and the Hazardville Fire Department received mutual aid assistance from the other four town fire companies, according to Mark Zarcaro, public information officer.
Firefighters declared the blaze under control at 5:44 a.m., Zarcaro said.

An occupant of the home who reported the fire escaped unharmed, as did two cats who were in the house, Zarcaro said.
Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
