Update: Enfield Dealership Remains Under Same Ownership

The Mitchell Auto Group is buying a Northampton, MA dealership owned by local car dealers.

Update:

The Mitchell Auto Group is buying a car dealership from Anthony F. Troiano and Robert Artioli, but not the dealerships the pair owns in Enfield and Colchester.

Because of a reporting error, Enfield Patch reported this week that the Mitchells were buying the Artioli Chrysler, Dodge Ram dealership in Enfield and Troiano Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge dealership in Colchester, which were founded in 1975. It turns out The Mitchell Auto Group is buying the Northampton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership, according to Artioli.

“We are selling our Northampton location to the Mitchell’s, and the Northampton location only,” Artioli said. “We are a family-owned and operated business in Enfield and Colchester since 1975, entering our 40th year of operation, and we are planning on being here another 40.”

Enfield Patch regrets the error.
