A white man robbed the bank of an undisclosed sum of money late Thursday morning, police said.

ENFIELD, CT — Police are seeking a man who reportedly robbed a People's Bank branch inside a Hazard Avenue supermarket Thursday morning.
At 10:48 a.m., police received a 911 call from an employee of the bank, located inside the Stop & Shop at 54 Hazard Avenue, that the bank had just been robbed, Lt. Willie Pedemonti said.
Employees stated that a white male, described as being approximately 30-40 years in age, standing 5-feet-10 to 6 feet tall, with a thin build, shoulder-length brown hair and facial hair had shown a note demanding money. The bank teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money, with the suspect leaving on foot out the supermarket doors. No weapon was shown or implied, Pedemonti said.
