Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• At Eastern Connecticut State University, resident assistants (RAs) have the role of guiding and aiding students with on-campus residential living. They are carefully selected by staff in the Department of Housing and Residential Life through a process of information sessions and personal interviews. After being hired, they are trained to provide an environment that encourages success and positive student development. Among the RAs selected for the spring 2018 semester is Joseph LeBlanc of Enfield, whose major is New Media Studies.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Lasell College has announced that Dillon DeSouza from Enfield was named as a member of the Dean's List for his academic performance in the fall 2017 semester. DeSouza majors in Athletic Training and is a member of the class of 2021. To achieve this accomplishment, students must be enrolled full-time and have completed 12 graded credits for that semester, with a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

Manchester Community College, Manchester CT

• Eight students from Enfield were named to the President's List at Manchester Community College for the fall 2017 semester. They are Melissa Bilgen, Victoria Chevalier, Pauline Griffin, Matthew Levasseur, Xiomara Rodriguez, Miranda Stephens, Heidi Thibodeau and Lisa Trotta. Enfield residents named to the Dean's List were Katherine Bertrand, Lourdes Cruz-Martinez, Sandra Hamideh, Jenna Kolodziej, Emily Malcolm, Shaun Maynard, Eric Mazzarella, Althea McArthur, Sarah Beth Norris, Caitlyn Passmore, Samuel Quinn, Elizabeth Shermer and Samantha Zace.

Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT

• Enfield residents Sydney Anzellotti, Sarah Carroll, Jessica Maier, Connor Shannahan, Hannah Smith and Caitlin Stolpinski were accorded Dean's List honors for the fall 2017 semester.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• Three students from Enfield have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2017 semester: Stacie Rotatori, High Honors; Sydney Wilcox, High Honors; and Christina Lemire, Honors. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Chad Fortune, Michael Munson and Nicholas Ruel, all of Enfield, were named to the Dean's List at Western Connecticut State University for the fall 2017 semester.
