On Campus - Enfield College Students

ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently named its resident assistants (RAs) for the fall 2018 semester. Among the RAs selected is Jessica Merluzzi of Enfield, whose major is Business Administration. RAs have the role of guiding and aiding students with on-campus residential living. They are carefully selected by staff in the Department of Housing and Residential Life through a process of information sessions and personal interviews. After being hired, they are trained to provide an environment that encourages success and positive student development.

Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA

• At Gettysburg, students use the opportunity to study globally to pursue diverse paths in multiple areas of study. Over 130 students studied globally in the spring 2018 semester, representing over 25 majors in over 25 countries. Daniel Miller of Enfield, a Mathematical Economics major, studied abroad in China.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Zachary Stein of Enfield graduated from Western New England University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-General Business on August 15, 2018.
