ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Two Lasell College students from Enfield were named to the Dean's List for their strong academic performance in the fall 2018 semester: Samantha Lavoie and Dillon DeSouza. To be named to the Dean's List, they needed to complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Allison Nicole Hayden of Enfield was named to The University of Alabama Dean's List for fall 2018. A total of 12,332 students enrolled during the 2018 fall term at UA were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).
