Castleton University, Castleton VT

• Alex Jensen of Enfield was recently named to the Castleton University Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2018-19 academic year. To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's Social Work Program held its annual Phi Alpha Honor Society Induction ceremony on May 18 in the Betty Tipton Room of the Student Center. At the ceremony 38 new members were inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social work.
  Among the inductees was Lauryn Wille of Enfield, who majors in Social Work.
• Three students from Eastern Connecticut State University were recognized at the ninth annual Library Research Awards at the conclusion of the 2018-19 academic year. Among the award recipients was Emily Miclon of Enfield, who majors in Music. Miclon was awarded with a prize of $350 in the junior/senior category for her research paper titled "La Musique en Plein Air: Debussy's Open Air Emplacement."
• Eastern Connecticut State University's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education held its annual year-end award ceremony and Alpha Upsilon Chi honor society induction ceremony on May 2. Among the honored was Ryan Coppinger of Enfield, who majors in Sport & Leisure Management. Coppinger was inducted into Alpha Upsilon Chi.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Brendan Fahey of Enfield graduated from Tufts University on May 19, 2019 with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Magna Cum Laude during a university-wide commencement ceremony that featured an address by award-winning actress and activist Alfre Woodard.
