Assumption College, Worcester MA

• The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Tori Geaglone, of Enfield, has earned a spot on the 2019 Greyhounds field hockey team. Geaglone, Class of 2023, will compete during the fall season. The Hounds finished the 2018 season with a 12-7 overall record. Assumption won its last two games to claim the No. 8 seed in the Northeast-10 Tournament. The Hounds upset top-seeded Pace University in the quarterfinals before falling to Saint Anselm College in the semifinals.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Emmalie Pierz-Gaudet of Enfield became a Psychology student at Lasell University this fall. Pierz-Gaudet joins more than 580 new students at the University.
