American International College, Springfield MA
- Jessica Callahan, class of 2018 at American International College, was inducted into the Alpha Chi Honors Society at a ceremony held on April 4, 2018. Callahan, a Communications major from Enfield, was one of 14 juniors and 10 seniors who received the honor by being in the top 10 percent of their class.
Assumption College, Worcester MA

- Assumption College's Department of Art, Music and Theatre will present a concert-staged performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from April 20-22. The performance, which will feature the College's Chorale and student actors performing lead roles, will be presented in the College's new state-of-the-art 400-seat Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall of the Tsotsis Family Academic Center. Jessica Follo, of Enfield, will perform as a member of the Chorus in the production.
Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- On April 5, a group of Eastern Connecticut State University students was inducted into Alpha Mu Alpha, Eastern's chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society for the study of history. Ryan Bridges of Enfield was one of the inductees. Bridges's major is History and Social Science. The society promotes the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. It is an American honor society for undergraduate and graduate students and professors of history and it has over 350,000 members, with about 9,500 new members joining each year through 860 local chapters.

- Connor Shannahan of the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Silfen Track and Field Invitational on April 13. Shannahan, a sophomore from Enfield, competed in the 10,000 meter run, where he placed third with a time of 32:29.26.
