Campus Highlights For Enfield College Students

ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Becker College, Worcester MA

• Austin Gero, of Enfield, has been named to the Becker College Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. Gero is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Media Design, Game Design Concentration. The Dean's List recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades.
• Desiree Rodriguez, of Enfield, was recognized with the Laboratory Animal Science award at the annual Academic Awards Ceremony at Becker College. Rodriguez is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science, Laboratory Animal Science.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Lasell College honored the Class of 2019 at the institution's 165th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11, 2019. The ceremony took place on the College's Taylor Field and recognized a record number of graduate and undergraduate degree recipients. Samantha Lavoie of Enfield graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Hospitality Management.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Four students from Enfield have been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Honorees from Enfield are Connor Marsters, Dorothy Mulligan, Bonnie Trinks and Haley Woods.
