Assumption College, Worcester MA

• The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that 30 student-athletes have earned a coveted spot on the 2016-17 Assumption College Men's Ice Hockey team, including Stephen Picard and Sam Kelly of Enfield.

Delaware Valley University, Doylestown, PA

• Carolyn Mark, a resident of Enfield, was honored for academic achievement by being named to the Dean's List at Delaware Valley University for the fall 2016 semester.

Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ

• Marissa Aniolowski of Enfield has qualified for the fall 2016 Dean's List. To make Dean's List, students must have at least a 3.4 GPA and can get no grade lower than a C.

Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT

• Freshman Connor Shannahan of Enfield of the Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team has been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Cross Country All-Academic Team.The individual All-Academic honor was awarded to those athletes who have compiled a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 and finished among the top 30 percent of eligible runners at his or her regional championships and/or the top half of the field at the NCAA Championships.Shannahan was the top finisher for the Owls at the NCAA Regional Championship and placed 62nd overall.
