- Sixteen students from Enfield were named to the dean's list at Central Connecticut State University for the fall 2017 semester. They are Robyn Bowles, Shelby Brennan, Megan Callender, Jason Gobin, Melissa Hallas, Momin Ilyas, Breauna Jurkowski, Joshua Keegan, Alec Korpusinski, Shannon La Montagne, Michelle Magora, Allison Mannette, Jacob Nitch, Matthew Nogas, Aleksander Pawlowicz and Brandon Wunch.

- Namkha Norsang of Enfield has earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Norsang was among approximately 3,100 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech's 254th Commencement exercises on Dec. 15-16, 2017, at the McCamish Pavilion.
Quinnipiac University, Hamden CT
- Rebecca Ellis and Lauren Shanley of Enfield were named to the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the fall 2017 semester.

- Seton Hall University is pleased to announce that Marissa Aniolowski of Enfield has qualified for fall 2017 Dean's list. Qualifications for Dean's list include enrolling as a full-time matriculated student with a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits, completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4 or above, and with no grades lower than "C".
Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven CT
- Six students from Enfield were named to the dean's list at Southern Connecticut State University for the fall 2017 semester. They are Sydney Anzellotti, Sarah Carroll, Jessica Maier, Connor Shannahan, Hannah Smith and Caitlin Stolpinski.
- A total of 40 student-athletes from fall teams at Southern Connecticut State University have been recognized by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (with selections to either the Academic Honor Roll or the President's Honor Roll. The ECAC Academic Honor Roll is split into two tiers. The Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieved a 3.2-3.59 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and have completed one full academic year at their current institution. The second tier, the President's Honor Roll, recognizes student-athletes who have a GPA of 3.6 or better and have completed a full academic year at their institution.Connor Shannahan of Enfield, a member of the men's cross country team, has been named to the Academic Honor Roll. He also, for the second year in a row, has been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Cross Country All-Academic Team. The individual All-Academic honor was awarded to those athletes who have compiled a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 and finished among the top 30 percent of eligible runners at his or her regional championships and/or the top half of the field at the NCAA Championships. Shannahan was the top finisher for the Owls at the NCAA Regional Championship and placed 30th overall.
- A total of 207 student-athletes from Southern Connecticut State University have been named to the fall 2017 NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. In order to be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded a minimum 3.0 semester grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the fall 2017 semester. Honorees from Enfield are Jessica Maier and Connor Shannahan.
