Campus Notes - Enfield College Students

ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

American International College, Springfield MA

• Robert Ollari, of Enfield, recently participated in the 10th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium at American International College. The Undergraduate Research Symposium provides students from across disciplines with a public space to share their original ideas, discoveries, creations, and research in a supportive and professional academic conference setting. Ollari, a communications major, did his research on fake news and its impact on journalism and our social and political systems.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Thirty-two business students were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society of AACSB-accredited business schools, at a ceremony conducted by the Western New England Chapter officers. The banquet, held April 19, 2018, at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, was attended by 120 students, guests, College of Business faculty and staff, Dean Rob Kleine, Provost Linda Jones, and President Anthony Caprio, in addition to several members of the College of Business Advisory Board. Inductees from Enfield were Michael Bemont and Dominique Herbert, both majoring in Business Analytics Information Management.
