Campus Notes - Enfield College Students

ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Curry College is proud to announce that Haley Soltys of Enfield has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.30 GPA, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester.

Providence College, Providence RI

• Mackenzie Lawler and Emily Noll of Enfield were named to the dean's list at Providence College for the fall 2018 semester.
• Mary Baskerville, a freshman basketball player from Enfield, was named Big East Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending Dec. 23. Baskerville averaged 10.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game, connecting on 13 of 22 field goal attempts.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2018 Dean's List. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. Honorees from Enfield are Jake Alaimo, Jessica Gorrie, Ashley MacGregor and Jessica Williams.
