Carol A. Shewokis, 69; Retired Bank Branch Manager

Carol A. (Schenna) Shewokis, 69, of Enfield entered into eternal rest Friday Aug. 1, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.

Carol was born Aug. 9 1944 in Westfield, MA, daughter of the late John and Rose (Babinski) Schenna.

She was a resident of the Enfield community since 1967 and was employed by Bank of America as the manager of the Rockville branch for over 36 years retiring in 2007. Carol was a longtime communicant of Holy Family Church and enjoyed gardening and shopping.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband Paul of 49 years, her loving children, Christopher Shewokis and his wife Suzanne of Sandown, NH and Kimberly Toman and her husband Bernhard of Beulah, CO; her cherished grandchildren, Valerie and Mandy Toman and Sarah and Samantha Shewokis, her siblings, Jack Schenna and his wife Agnes of Westfield, MA, David Schenna and his wife Sharon of Blanford, MA and Nancy Barkwell in Oregon.

Carol’s family and friends will gather Wednesday Aug. 6 by 10:15 a.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels 61 South Rd., Enfield, for a funeral procession to Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery. Carol’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m.
