Celebrities Set for Travelers Championship Pro-Am
Andre Tippett, Tim Wakefield and Doug Flutie are among the luminaries scheduled for Wednesday's outing in Cromwell.

The skies have cleared and the stars will be shining Wednesday as the Travelers Championship Celebrity Pro-Am tees off at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.
Some of golf's top competitors and more than a dozen celebrities are slated to play in the annual event, which got underway at 6:50 a.m.
The majority of the celebrities will play in the afternoon, with the exception being former UConn basketball stars Jennifer Rizzotti and Kevin Ollie, who were scheduled to start on the 10th tee at 7:30 a.m.

Among the notables appearing (all starting on the first tee): former NFL star and sports broadcaster Ahmad Rashad, former UConn and NBA basketball star Scott Burrell and WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter (12:30); UConn women's basketball associate head coach Chris Dailey and Tony Award-winning actor James Naughton (12:40); Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Tippett, ESPN sportscaster Chris Berman and Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie (12:50); former Boston Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield (1:00); and UConn women's basketball coach and Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Geno Auriemma (1:10).
New U.S. Open champion Justin Rose is scheduled to start on the first tee at 12:20 p.m. Other PGA Tour standouts who will play Wednesday include defending champion Marc Leishman (7:50, 10th), Lee Westwood (8:40, 1st), Keegan Bradley (8:40, 10th), Bubba Watson (8:50, 10th), Webb Simpson (12:10, 10th), crowd favorite John Daly (1:20, 1st) and Angel Cabrera (1:20, 10th).
