CNC Engineering and KOMA Precision Spearhead 8th Annual Manufacturing Technology Benefit Golf Tournament

CNC Engineering, Columbia Manufacturing and KOMA Precision stepped up as Titanium Sponsors for the 8th Annual Manufacturing Technology Golf Tournament. The Machine Technology Program at Asnuntuck Community College was the beneficiary of the $35,000 net proceeds.
Gary Caravella, President of CNC Engineering, Inc. in Enfield, Connecticut and Barry Agosti, President of Koma Precision, Inc. in East Windsor spearheaded the event, held at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut. To-date over $235,000 has been raised from this event.
The Asnuntuck Machine Technology Program has been instrumental in helping ready the manufacturing workforce through their educational courses, as well as being the catalyst for scholarship programs.

The Machine Technology program was developed in 1998 and has evolved into a college program. Over 1,000 students have graduated from the program with certificates and degrees. The manufacturing community has provided career opportunities for more than 90% of the graduates.
