Assumption College, Worcester MA

  • Assumption College has announced that 21 students, including two from Enfield, are spending the spring semester studying abroad at the College's Rome Campus where the city, and country of Italy, become a living classroom. Enfield students are Kennedy O'Hara and Noah Veilleux.

  • Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country junior Connor Shannahan of Enfield was named to the 2019 Northeast 10 Conference Men's Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

  • Thirteen Springfield College students from Enfield were named to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2018 term: Charles Ruffin, studying Applied Exercise Science; Matthew Johnson, studying Athletic Training; Miranda Lee, studying Athletic Training; Diego Claudio, studying Business Management; Joseph Partridge, studying Communication/Sport Journalism; Cheyenne Hrapek, studying Computer Graphics/Digital Arts; Colin Wright, studying Computer Graphics/Digital Arts; Hadi Alshahrani, studying Emergency Medical Services Management; Daniel Hurlburt, studying History; Megan Lapponese, studying Movement & Sport Studies; Allison Rosienski, studying Psychology; Qianteng Zhou, studying Psychology; and Hannah Calabrese, studying Sports Biology. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.
