Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- More than 200 Eastern Connecticut State University students of African, Latino, Asian and Native American (ALANA) descent were honored on May 9 at the 2019 Inclusive Excellence Awards. All students who were honored achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.5. An additional 11 students were recognized for demonstrating exemplary co-curricular engagement at Eastern.
Among the honored were Wesley Isaac of Enfield, who majors in Business Administration and was presented with an Academic Excellence Award, and Jessica Merluzzi of Enfield, who majors in Communication and was presented with an Academic Excellence Award.
Emmanuel College, Boston MA

- In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named more than 700 students, including three from Enfield, to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester. Enfield honorees were Aurelie Barry, Julianna Pelletier and Catherine Thomas.
Ithaca College, Ithaca NY
- Killian Gomeau, an Ithaca College student from Enfield, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. Gomeau is majoring in Writing for Film, TV and Emerging Media.

- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) released the 2018-19 Academic All-Conference selections, and 101 Lasell College student-athletes have been honored. This year's list consists of 1,030 student-athletes from 13 full-time institutions and nine associate member institutions who have met the following criteria: maintaining a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, completed at least one full season of competition at a GNAC institution and is at least sophomore academically. The list included Dillon DeSouza of Enfield, a student-athlete on the Lasell men's volleyball team.
