- The Assumption College Office of Student Activities has announced that Kennedy O'Hara, of Enfield, is currently serving as co-president of Neuroscience Club for the 2019-20 academic year. - Eastern Connecticut State University welcomed 1,200 new students to campus this fall 2019 semester. The new enrollees include first-time and transfer students who are enrolled in full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate programs. Among the new students are Enfield residents Allen Griffin, a full-time undergraduate freshman who is majoring in Accounting; Timothy Crowley, a full-time undergraduate freshman who is majoring in Business Administration; Nicholas Culver, a full-time undergraduate sophomore who is majoring in Communication; Sarah Theriault, a full-time undergraduate freshman who is majoring in Criminology; Jillian Hubbard, a full-time undergraduate freshman who is majoring in English; Francis Crowley, a full-time undergraduate freshman who is majoring in Exploratory Professional Studies; Jeremy Stefanik, a full-time undergraduate junior who is majoring in Finance; Benjamin Sperrazza, a full-time undergraduate junior who is majoring in Health Sciences; Tanner Rush, a full-time undergraduate freshman who is majoring in New Media Studies; Thomas Byron, a full-time undergraduate freshman who is majoring in Physical Education; James Callaghan, a full-time undergraduate junior who is majoring in Sport & Leisure Management; and Taylor Molina, a full-time undergraduate sophomore who is majoring in Theatre.
Goodwin College, East Hartford CT
- Goodwin College's President's List for the summer 2019 session includes 230 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Honorees from Enfield are Emily Kingsbury, Alexandra Mokrzecki, Jessica Neff, James Ottino, Beth-Anne Roy and Zachariah Zannoni.
- Goodwin College announces 627 students achieved Dean's list status for the summer 2019 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.
