Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

  • Eastern Connecticut State University's Theatre Program presented a heartfelt tale of two brothers navigating the murky waters of race and freedom. "The Brothers Size," written by Academy Award-winning writer Tarell McCraney and directed by Eastern Theatre Professor DeRon Williams, is an African cosmology-inspired story of brotherhood set in the Louisiana bayou. Among the students that participated in the production was senior Katelynn Scalia of Enfield, who worked as the Dramaturg. Scalia majors in English and Theatre.

  • Anna-Renee Labak, Dorothy Mulligan, Chloe Pearson and Haley Woods, all of Enfield, have been named to the fall 2019 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
