Community Conversation, Public Hearing Set for Enfield's Proposed Budget
The public will have two opportunities to have their voices heard prior to the Town Council's vote on the proposed budget.
ENFIELD, CT - In advance of the Enfield Town Council's vote on the proposed 2016-17 budget, town officials have scheduled a pair of opportunities for residents to voice their opinions.
A Community Conversation and PowerPoint presentation will be held Wednesday, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the all-purpose room at Henry Barnard School, 27 Shaker Road. Residents are encouraged to attend and ask any questions about the town of Enfield’s proposed budget.
A public hearing on the proposed budget will take place Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. at John F. Kennedy Middle School, 155 Raffia Road.

The order of business of the 2016 - 2017 proposed budget hearing will be arranged as follows:
- Presentation of the Town Manager’s Budget.
- Chairman of the Board of Education highlights Education Budget.
- Comments from members of the public for the first time.
