A motor vehicle accident at Broad Brook Road and the south end of Abbe Road, near the East Windsor town line, has forced the closure while police investigate. A notification to residents on the town's Everbridge system, issued at 3:55 p.m., indicated the road will be closed "for the next two or more hours." Police advise motorists to seek alternate routes.
