Daniel E. Gaylord, 34; Enfield High School Grad Who Was Avid Outdoorsman

Daniel E. Gaylord, 34, of Windsor Locks, CT passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 2, 2015.

Dan was born November 17, 1980, in Hartford, CT and grew up in Enfield, CT.

He attended local schools in Enfield and was a graduate of Enfield High School Class of 1997. Dan was an avid outdoors man whether it be hiking, kayaking, hunting or fishing he found great peace being outdoors.

Dan is survived by his father, John “Jack” Gaylord and his wife, Maggie of Windsor Locks and his mother, Brenda (Hare) Gaylord Abbe and her husband, William of Broad Brook. Dan is also survived by his sister, Melissa Gaylord of Broad Brook and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved him dearly.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service will be celebrated at 7 pm officiating will be Pastor Dennis Anderson. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
