Debate Scheduled for Enfield Town Council Candidates

A debate among candidates for the Enfield Town Council will be held Thursday, Oct. 22 at the John F. Kennedy Middle School at 7 p.m.

The event is being organized and moderated by the Enfield High School Youth Vote Committee.

Republican at-large incumbents Scott Kaupin, Greg Stokes, Donna Szewczak and Carol Hall are all running for re-election, as are Democratic incumbents Tom Arnone and Gina Cekala. Democrats Kathleen Sarno and Virginia Higley are also competing for at-large seats.

In District 1, Republican incumbent Joe Bosco is being challenged by John Foxx.

District 2 incumbent Democrat William “Red” Edgar is running unopposed.

District 3 Republican incumbent Bill Lee is being opposed by Elizabeth Davis.

In District 4, Democratic incumbent Ed Deni will face challenger Donna Dubanoski.
