Dr. Francine York Joins New England Primary Care

New England Primary Care welcomes Dr. Francine York to it's practice starting on January 2, 2019.

On January 2, 2019, New England Primary Care welcomes Francine York, DPN (Doctor of Nursing Practice), APRN (Advanced Nurse Practitioner), FNP-BC (Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified) to its practice at 55 Hazard Avenue.

Dr. York has several years experience in primary care and pediatrics. “As Director of Perinatal Services at Johnson Memorial Hospital, my responsibilities focus on the newborn nursery, a position I still hold and consider one of my proudest achievements.”

Francine began her career training paramedics before becoming a Registered Nurse. She spent many years in a variety of nursing capacities including Labor and Delivery, the Emergency Department, and Pediatrics. She worked in the Emergency Department at St. Francis Hospital before graduating with a Doctorate in Nursing from Quinnipiac University several years ago.

Michael Gutman, MD, PhD, FACEP (and New England Primary Care Co-Founder with his wife Yahel Gutman RN, BSN, YTT-200H) added, “Francine is extremely compassionate, caring, and pleasant with outstanding clinical skills. Her interest and experience in both primary care and pediatrics are a good fit for this practice. Her holistic view gives her keen insight and a particular skill set for treating patients throughout their lifetime.”
