Drug Raids On Enfield Homes Net 2 Suspects

Both were charged with dealing narcotics, including heroin.

ENFIELD, CT — A pair of Enfield men were arrested on narcotics charges after execution of search and seizure warrants at two Thompsonville residences over the weekend.

Early Friday morning, police made entry into 13-B Martin Street, where they took Carlito Colon, 22, into custody. They found 1.1 grams of crack cocaine in a torn baggie, a nylon kit containing six bundles, four loose bags and 64 wax bags of heroin and fentanyl, marijuana, a scale and $1,065 in cash, Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said.

Colon was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell (two counts), sale of certain illegal drugs (two counts) and operating a drug factory. A court-set bond of $300,000 was established, and he remains in custody.

Due to numerous complaints about drug sales at 24-26 South Street, and in part using information acquired from Colon, police obtained a warrant and, working with federal ATF agents, arrested Justin Foster, 31, on Sunday. He was charged with two counts of sale of certain illegal drugs, and is being held on $100,000 bond.

As part of the investigation, Foster had been recorded inside a vehicle, selling $160 worth of heroin to an undercover officer, Sferrazza said.
