Earthworm Dissection at St. Bernard School!
Ms. Brooke Landry's 7th Grade Life Science Class Completes Earthworm Dissection For Their First Lab
7th Graders at St. Bernard School Dissect Earthworm in Science Class
As part of the 7th Grade Life Science Curriculum at St. Bernard School, Ms. Brooke Landry’s students participated in their first dissection lab. Students and their lab partners observed and defined the internal organs and structures of their earthworm. A Trinocular Compound LED Microscope was used to view specimens up close. While participating in the lab, students from the lower grades came to observe while the 7th graders explained the steps they were taking during the dissection. The students will later illustrate what they have learned through a written science lab report.
