Edna M. Hayward, 94; Long-Time Enfield Resident Who Was Dedicated to Her Family
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 23.

Edna M. (Vienneau) Hayward, 94, of Enfield, entered peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday May 19, 2015.
She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late Russell F. Hayward.

Edna was born on December 8, 1920 in Millinocket, Maine, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Violette) Vienneau and had resided in Enfield since 1958.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was very dedicated to caring for her family and home. Edna enjoyed spending time with her family and camping until the last weekend of her life. She was a Red Sox fan and a member of St. Patrick Church in Enfield.

Edna is survived by her loving children; Lawrence Hayward of Enfield, Stephen Hayward & wife Sandy of Enfield, Janice Hurley & husband Wayne of Enfield, Donald Hayward & wife Laura of Enfield, Joyce Totten & husband Peter of E. Windsor and Douglas Hayward & wife Lora of Palmer, MA, and her 12 cherished grandchildren and 6 adored great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her ten brothers and three sisters.
There are no calling hours per her request. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick Church.
