Elderly Woman Is Carjacked at the Enfield Square Mall

An elderly woman was the victim of a carjacking at the the Enfield Square Mall Monday afternoon, after she was reportedly punched in the face and her car stolen

The incident occurred about 2:15 p.m. March 9 as the woman was walking out of Macy’s, according to WFSB. The attacker reportedly punched the woman described as being in her early 70s, in the face before escaping with her car.

Witnesses called Enfield Police who chased the car for four miles, into Longmeadow, MA, according to the report. The driver was caught and Enfield Police are now seeking an arrest warrant, according to the report that can be found here.
