The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The single most pressing issue in Enfield is the same issue affecting everyone across America - the loss of a sense of community and togetherness. Many issues often end up dividing people. I believe discussion and constructive disagreements make for a better outcome. I would like to see civil discourse on issues we all face be on subject and not revert to personality.

“Together we stand, divided we fall” is where we are right now in 2021. I plan on continuing to move forward with the plans we have started putting in place, to make more quality of life things in Enfield for people to do, improving our parks, access to the CT River and Scantic, walking paths, basketball courts, sporting fields, community programs, the list goes on, but people need to be able to get out and meet others and do things that help show that really we have more in common than what divides us.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I always do my research on topics that we are voting on. I read the bills that the state passes that we end up having to take action on, I ask questions and try to give out ideas to make good decisions, and am always open to compromise and other ideas.

Accomplishments:

I have been the District 4 councilor for the past 2 years, thru a worldwide pandemic and as a council we have accomplished many things during this time. I think if you can survive a pandemic and everything life has to throw at you, you can handle just about anything. I would say that of all citizens that pulled thru and are continuing to pull thru this, and feel as I do in that regard.

Other issues:

There are multiple issues and I find out more each day from people that call me, email me, and or that I meet while out campaigning. I would encourage people to continue to contact me. The more input I have from the residents the better I can serve them. I am available by phone: 860-593-9841 or email criley3111@gmail.com

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I would like the voters to know that if you have questions or need something and you are not sure where to go, or what department to call or what questions to ask, that you contact your district councilor. I will always try to help you, if I don’t know the answer right that second, I will go and find out to get you an answer. I respond to emails and calls. I have helped many residents, even if it was just giving them the right phone number to call, or if it was helping them thru a sewer back up, a tree downed, a power outage, anything. I want to make it easier for people to get the assistance they need or the questions they need answered. That's the main reason why I ran for office, I just wanted to help my neighbors get solutions to the problems they had, and to help make Enfield a great place to live.
