State Sen. John Kissel said, "This is clearly an important election for a lot of folks, but how it's going to shake out is anybody's guess. We have worked hard from Election Day two years ago straight forward, so I think at the end of the day, hopefully we'll be successful."

"We feel like we have a very strong message this year, and we've had a tremendous amount of support from various sectors," 7th Senate District challenger Karen Jarmoc said.

"It's been very busy with a steady flow of cars," District 58 House candidate Tom Sirard said. "Feedback has been very positive, but I'm cautiously optimistic."

District 58 House candidate David Alexander said, "There was a long line coming in here today. It's been a good morning. So far, a lot of people who voted for me in the primary have shown up. It's an exciting day."

"Traffic-wise, it's incredible, the turnout is very high for any election, even for a presidential election," 59th District Rep. David Kiner said.

"People are coming in in droves," District 59 challenger Joe Bosco said. "Feedback has been great, but the votes are what counts."
