Elizabeth J. Prince, 92; Long-Time Enfield Resident Who Enjoyed Sewing, Traveling

Elizabeth J. Prince, 92, of Enfield, CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Parkway Pavilion.
She was born on March 15, 1923 in Minot, ME, the daughter of the late Arthur and Alzada (Cooley) Gove.

Elizabeth was raised in Mechanic Falls, ME and had lived in Enfield since 1952. She was employed for Casual Corner for 15 years retiring in 1988. Elizabeth enjoyed sewing and traveling especially taking day trips. She really enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her six children Mary St. Louis of Olde Town, ME, Carl Prince of Enfield, CT, Carol Reyome of Enfield, CT, Patricia Semanie of Feeding Hills, MA, Caroline Prince of Enfield, CT and Royce Prince of East Hampton, CT; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters Dottie Lebria, Dina Self, and Pauline Cox.

She was predeceased by a son Raymond Fortier, two brothers Bobby and Teddy; and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home, 26 W Dwinal St, Mechanic Falls, ME 04256. Burial will be held at a later date in Mechanic Falls Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
