Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic Nears
The 20th annual tournament featuring former pro football, baseball and hockey players is scheduled for May 1.

The 20th annual Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic is scheduled for Sunday, May 1 at the Oak Ridge Country Club in Feeding Hills, MA. Teams will be comprised of four golfers playing a scramble format.
The day begins with lunch, followed by a noon shotgun start and a full buffet dinner. Prizes will be awarded to the low gross teams, longest drive and closest to the pin.
Celebrities who have participated in past outings include former NFL stars Steve Nelson, Roger LeClerc and Barry Pearson; baseball’s Bill Lee, Dick McAuliffe, Billy Jo Robidoux, Gary Waslewski, Mike Laga and Ron Diorio; hockey’s Doug Roberts and Garry Swain; Olympic wrestling bronze medalist Rodney Smith; and actor Paul D'Amato ("Slap Shot", "The Deer Hunter").

Entry fee is $125 (or $115 if paid in full by April 1), which includes greens fees, cart, brunch, dinner, prizes, golfer gift and a tax-deductible contribution to the Hall of Fame (a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization). Checks payable to the Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame may be mailed to the Hall of Fame c/o Enfield Recreation Dept., 19 North Main St., Enfield, CT 06082. Payment may also be made via PayPal on the Hall of Fame web site at www.enfieldathletichof.org.
