Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic Scheduled
Former pro athletes and entertainers will help support the Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame at the 21st annual event May 6.

ENFIELD, CT — Get ready to swing with the stars, as the 21st annual Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic is scheduled for Saturday, May 6 at the Oak Ridge Country Club in Feeding Hills, Mass. Teams will be comprised of four golfers playing a scramble format.
The day begins with lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a noon shotgun start and a full buffet dinner. Prizes will be awarded to the low gross teams, longest drive and closest to the pin.
Celebrities who have participated in past outings include former NFL stars Steve Nelson, Barry Pearson and Roger LeClerc; baseball’s Bill Lee, Billy Jo Robidoux, Gary Waslewski, Mike Laga and Ron Diorio; hockey’s Doug Roberts and Garry Swain; Olympic wrestling bronze medalist Rodney Smith; and actor Paul D'Amato ("Slap Shot", "The Deer Hunter"). This year’s cast of celebrities will be announced in April.

Entry fee is $125, which includes greens fees, cart, brunch, dinner, prizes, golfer gift and a tax-deductible contribution to the Hall of Fame (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization). Payments received in full prior to April 1 will be $115 per player.
Tickets for dinner only are available for $25 per person.

Checks payable to the Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame may be mailed to the Hall of Fame c/o Enfield Recreation Dept., 19 North Main St., Enfield, CT 06082. Payment may also be made via PayPal on the Hall of Fame web site at www.enfieldathletichof.org.
Proceeds benefit the Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame Scholarship, the Amy Romano Memorial Scholarship and operating expenses for the Hall of Fame.
