Enfield-Based Teams Qualify for State Tournaments
One squad each from Enfield and Fermi high schools and the CREC Public Safety Academy are assured postseason berths.
ENFIELD, CT - With the high school spring sports regular season winding down, it is time to start thinking about state tournament competition in baseball, softball, boys and girls lacrosse and boys volleyball.
One team each from Enfield and Fermi high schools and the CREC Public Safety Academy have clinched postseason spots. They are (with current record, rank and classification):
- Enfield boys volleyball - 8-9, 10th, M
- Fermi baseball - 10-8, 16th, L
- PSA baseball - 11-9, 17th, S
Fermi softball must win its final regular season game Wednesday against Enfield to qualify.
