Enfield Business Receives Recognition Award

(From Left to Right) Subway employees Nick Cassotta, Albert LaGrange, Jeff Blackwelder and manager Sadi Westbrook pose with a 2012 Walk MS appreciation plaque received from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter. Last year Subway restaurants across Connecticut, including the Enfield location, made thousands of sandwiches for walk participants. Enfield residents Blackwelder, LaGrange and Westbrook have worked together at the Enfield Street Subway for more than five years. Cassotta joined their team in September 2012. The Enfield franchise has been preparing and donating sandwiches for Walk MS since 2009, last year preparing 500 sandwiches for participants stepping out at JFK Middle School in Enfield. The Subway Restaurant will yet again provide Subway sandwiches for this year’s Walk MS, which takes place at 12 locations across Connecticut, including JFK Middle School, on Sunday, April 21. For more information on the 2013 Walk MS, presented by Travelers, or to register, visit www.ctfightMS.org.
