Enfield DMV Office to Re-open Tuesday

Branch has been closed since the October snowstorm.

After more than three months out of operation, the Enfield branch of the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles is finally re-opening.

The office, at 4 Pearson Way, will open to the public Tuesday at 7:45 a.m., after being closed for renovation since the late October snowstorm, according to DMV spokesman Bill Seymour.

  • Disabled Parking Permits
  • Only renewals, duplicates and name changes on drivers’ licenses, both regular and verified, learners’ permits and commercial drivers’ licenses. Only DMV Hub offices issue new endorsements for licenses.
  • Non-Driver ID Cards - new for U.S. citizens only, in addition to renewals, duplicates and name changes.  
  • Vehicle Registration - all services except VIN Verifications.

The Enfield office will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:45 a.m.-4 p.m.; Thursdays, 9:15 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
