Enfield Elementary Principal Takes Coordinator Job; Interim Principal Named

ENFIELD, CT — Nancy Hayes, principal of Henry Barnard Elementary School, has been appointed a

Special Education Coordinator for the Enfield school district.

Hayes earned a Bachelor Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading from SUNY at Albany, her 6th Level C.A.G.S. in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut and additional 6th Level C.A.G.S. in Special Education from Westfield State.

Bob Fenton returns as interim principal at Barnard. He retired from the Enfield Public Schools as the principal from Harriet Beecher Stowe and Eli Whitney in 2012. Since his retirement, he has also served as interim housemaster at John F. Kennedy Middle School and the interim vice principal at Enrico Fermi High School.
