Enfield Family Offers Reward for Information on Missing Soldier

Former Sgt. Josh Devine disappeared during a diving vacation in Thailand.

A reward is being offered by the Enfield family of a former Connecticut National Guardsman who disappeared during a diving vacation in Thailand earlier this year.

A $5,000 reward is being offered by Sgt. Josh Devine’s family who believe the veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan is the victim of unfortunate circumstances and they’re willing to pay for information that brings Devine back home.

The 36-year-old Devine was with his wife, a native of Thailand, and others on a dive boat headed for an excursion in the Similan Islands when he disappeared April 11. In an interview with WFSB, his sister Jennifer Bakowski said, “I do think he’s gone.” His mother, Marie Major said she wants closure.
