Enfield High School Schedules Annual Safe Grad Auction

ENFIELD, CT — Looking for great bargains on holiday gift items while, at the same time, supporting the senior class at Enfield High School? Circle Nov. 5 on your calendars.

Enfield High School will be hosting its annual Safe Grad Auction on that date at the Enfield Elks Lodge at 138 North Maple St. Preview begins at 5:30 p.m., with the auction commencing at 6:30. Local DJ personality Tim Jensen returns as auctioneer and emcee.

Dining enthusiasts will have a wide variety of gift cards to bid on — from Enfield favorites like the Backyard Bar and Grill, Chicago Sam's, Figaro Restaurant and Sarapes to out-of-town eateries including Kaptain Jimmy's, Luxe Burger Bar, Ted's Montana Grill and Willington Pizza.

Red Sox fans will be able to acquire game tickets or an autographed Brock Holt baseball, while sports enthusiasts may choose from golf foursomes, Providence Bruins tickets or a 10-seat executive suite at a UConn hockey game.

Overnight getaways to the Westin Hotel at Copley Place, the Publick House, the Hartford Hilton, the Hyatt House and the Residence Inn are up for grabs, as are a bowling party for eight, a sunset cruise for two, a year of dance classes, auto detailing, concert and theatre tickets, a deep sea fishing venture and much more.

Among the most popular items from years past that will be featured again are a ride to school on a fire truck, dinner and drinks for four with Enfield Mayor Scott Kaupin, and six front row seats at the 2017 Enfield High School graduation ceremony.

Tickets are $10 and MasterCard and Visa will be accepted for auction items.
