Enfield Indoor Track Athletes Qualify for States

ENFIELD, CT — Several members of the Enfield High School indoor track team have posted numbers good enough to qualify for state competition later this winter.

The boys and girls Class LL meet will be held Feb. 10 at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven. The State Open will also take place there on Feb. 18.

Eagles who have already qualified for the class meet are:

BOYS

• 55 meters - Joel Stewart, 6.94
• high jump - Eric Maloney, 5-8
• long jump - Parker Simpson, 19-3.5; Rashon Davis, 18-11.75
• shot put - Richard Pierce, 38-1
• 4 x 200 relay, 1:39.29
• 4 x 400 relay, 3:55.00

GIRLS

• 55 meters - Stephanie Heck, 7.93
• 55 hurdles - Kayla Fassel, 10.16
• 1,000 meters - Sydney Nash, 3:16.34
• 1,600 meters - Sydney Nash, 5:31.92
• 3,200 meters - Sydney Nash, 12:13.89
• shot put - Camille Balicki, 32-1
• 4 x 200 relay, 2:00.00
• sprint medley - 4:50.00
