Enfield Institutes Parking Ban for Thursday into Friday

Some expected snowfall has prompted town officials to order all vehicles removed from the sides of roads.

ENFIELD, CT — With snow in the forecast for Thursday, Enfield officials have issued a townwide parking ban from Thursday morning until Friday morning.

From 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, until 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, all vehicles must be removed from roadways to avoid being towed at the owner's expense, according to an announcement on Enfield Alert.

The National Weather Service says snow will begin Thursday morning and continue until around 8 p.m., with accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. Wind gusts may reach as high as 32 mph.
