Enfield Libraries Set to Reopen to the Public
The town's libraries have been restricted for several months to contactless curbside pickup, an option which remains available to patrons.

ENFIELD, CT — After three months of service limited to contactless curbside pickup, the Enfield public libraries are slated to reopen to the public Monday, with some noticable changes brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
Plexiglass dividers have been built at all public desks at the Central Library on Middle Rd.,with much of the furniture moved into the community room to give patrons more space. Six-foot distances have been taped off to remind everyone about social distancing.
Contactless curbside pickup service, implemented during the initial government restrictions, will continue to be offered for anyone not yet comfortable with entering the building. The Community Room is currently being used to quarantine materials, so indoor programming remains on hold for the foreseeable future.
