The loss of the money was discovered earlier this year by league officials, according to a report.

A former Little League treasurer is facing a third-degree larceny charge in connection with the theft of nearly $12,500 from the organization, according to a report.
Kristie Perez-Bonilla, 37, of Suffield was arrested Tuesday after Enfield Police obtained an arrest warrant, according to The Courant.
The money was discovered missing when the Enfield Little League group merged with the Thompsonville Little League program earlier this year, and when questioned by league officials, Perez-Bonilla reportedly admitted to taking the money, according to The Courant report that can be found here.
