Enfield Man Broke Into Commercial Car Vacuums in Milford: Police

Police say the incident occurred back in the spring and when they arrested him he was already in jail.

MILFORD, CT — Police announced an arrest in a larceny case at Russell Speeder Car Wash on Cherry Street in Milford.

Police in a news release said that during the overnight hours on April 15 a suspect was recorded breaking into commercial car vacuums at Russell Speeder Car Wash.

Through investigation, Peter Hennessy, 32, of Colonial Drive in Enfield, was developed as the prime suspect, police said.

On Dec. 21 Hennessy, who is incarcerated with the Connecticut Department of Corrections, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal mischief.

A review of the Connecticut Judicial Branch website shows Hennessy has a long criminal history including 13 guilty pleas and was most recently sent back to prison in September on larceny and criminal mischief charges stemming out of Enfield.
